摘　　要：从中医学的思维模式和语言角度出发,探讨中医语言的意象性和保留原有喻体意象在中医翻译过程中的必要性,并展示这一策略在保持中医概念的完整性和独立性、增强译文的回译性和简洁性、弘扬中国传统文化等多方面的优势。The imagery of TCM language and the necessity of keeping intrinsic vehicle imagery in the transla- tion of TCM were explored based on the thinking model of TCM and linguistic approach, and it was pointed out that the strategy owned the advantages of maintaining the integrity and unique character of TCM concept, enhancing back translatability and conciseness of the translation and developing traditional Chinese culture.
