典籍英译中的“中国话语”研究——以赛珍珠《水浒传》英译为例

摘　　要：赛珍珠敢于打破西方文学翻译中的强势话语,在翻译《水浒传》过程中大胆采用直译法,以实现语言、文学、文化层面的中国话语言说策略。此外,她利用出版宣传、语境顺应、著译一体的中国话语传播策略,使译作在海外收到了良好的接受效果。赛译《水浒传》对当下典籍英译对外传播工作的启示是:要利用各种传播渠道和言说策略,凸显中国话语特色,为中国典籍文化走向世界探索最佳的途径和方式。Pearl S. Buck is bold in breaking the dominant discourse of western literature translation and ventures into a literal C-E translation of Shuihu Zhuan so as to better the ＂speaking＂ strategy of China＇ s discourse in language, literature and cul- ture. Moreover, she is skilled at adopting such Chinese discourse communication strategies as publication and promotion, con- text adaptation and the integration of writing and translating, so that her translation has been well-accepted around the world. Therefore, it is not unfair to say that her translation does shed some enlightenment on global communication of English transla- tion of Chinese classics. We should, in our foreign propagation, highlight the discourse features of Chinese language and take good advantage of communication channels to gain China＇ s discourse power in international community.
