摘　　要：课堂教学是英语教学中最主要的组织形式。在课堂教学过程中,教与学是相辅相成的。学生作为教学的对象,也是学习的主体,其学习积极性直接影响着教与学的效果。培养和激发学生的学习动机,既是课堂教学的重要环节,又是保证教学质量的关键。本文从课堂教学组织方面简要阐述了如何激发学生的学习动机,调动学生的学习积极性,在课堂教学中收到良好的课堂效果。classroom teaching and learning is the main organized form for teaching and learning English in which students are not only the target of teaching but also the main participants of activities. Students’en- thusiasm for learning English directly affects the efficiency of teaching and learning. Therefore, to cultivate and inspire the motivation of students is the principal objective of classroom teaching. This paper talks briefly about how to stimulate the motivation of undergraduate students to learn English in classroom teaching.
