摘　　要：明末文学家冯梦龙编撰的"三言"可谓中国古代文学史上成就最高的白话小说集,吸引了国内外众多文人学者的关注。"三言"的翻译最早可以追溯到18世纪早期,是中国小说中最早被译为西文的作品之一。但是与中国其他古典文学作品相比,国内外针对"三言"的翻译研究都相对较少,原因是多方面的。从历史的角度予以评述并对未来的研究趋向作可行性分析,以期提升研究者对于文化传播理论认识的水平,为中国文化"走出去"提供经验上的支持。Compiled by litterateur Feng Menglong from the late Ming Dynasty, ＂Sanyan＂ is considered one of the best collections of vernacular stories in the history of classical Chinese literature which have attracted attention of scholars both at home and abroad. ＂Sanyan＂ also took the lead among Chinese novels to be trans- lated into a foreign language since about the early 18＇h century. Compared with other Chinese classical literary works, however, systematic translation studies about ＂Sanyan＂ both at home and abroad can hardly be seen. This paper reviews the current status of translation studies concerning ＂Sanyan＂ from the perspective of histo- ry, digs out the reasons behind this phenomenon, and looks into the future trends thereof. As a result, rele- vant researchers can know more about the cultural communication theory, and more experience can be provid- ed to promote ＂going- out＂ of Chinese culture.
