摘  要:外宣文本中四字格比比皆是,其结构工整、音韵和谐、简洁明了,具有鲜明的语言文化特点,对其的英译需根据四字格语境、语义、译语读者及翻译目的,以意译为主、直译为辅、意译直译兼施的英译策略进行翻译,从而准确流畅地传达出四字格的文化意蕴。The four-character structure is able to be found everywhere in the overseas-targeted publicity text,which has the distinctive language and cultural characteristics such as the good structure,the harmonious sound and the concise content. Based on the context,meaning,readers and the purpose of translation,the translation to the four-character structure should adopt the following strategy that the priority should be given to free translation,literal translation is complementary and free translation and literal translation are sometimes simultaneously used so as to accurately and fluently convey the cultural implication of the four-character structure.
