摘　　要：高校理工科学生学习英语多年,但英语口语普遍较差,能力不强。对高校理工科学生英语口语能力的培养已成当务之急。本文论述了高校理工科学生英语口语能力的培养就是要全面提高学生英语语言综合素质,加强日常口语训练,大胆开口说英语。此外,提高理工科学生的人文素质和知识水平对英语口语交流至关重要。College students of science and engineering have been learning English for many years, but their oral English is generally poor and their ability is not strong. It is imperative to train the English speaking ability of college students of science and engineering. This paper discusses that the cultivation of English speaking ability of college students of science and engin-eering is to comprehensively improve the overall quality of students＇ English language, strengthen daily oral training, and speak English boldly. In addition, improving the humanities and knowledge of science and engineering students is essential for oral English communication.
