摘  要:大学英语教学旨在进一步提高学习者的综合语言技能和文化素养,但目前现阶段的教学现状是开课年限短,并且理论课和听说课着重于听、说、读、写技能的培养,翻译能力的培养显然没有得到足够的重视。翻译教学是语言教学和文化教学相结合的一个有力切入点,对于大多数非英语专业学生而言,翻译教学能帮助他们开阔中西文化视界、加深对中西语言和文化差异的理解。基于英汉对比的视角,本文提出了大学英语翻译教学的几点策略:适当增加中西方翻译理论和英汉互译技巧的传授;加强英汉句式差异对比,确定译文基本句型结构;充分挖掘教材中的英美文化知识和词语的文化内涵,培养文化意识,提高翻译的准确性。College English teaching aims to further improve learners'comprehensive language skills and cultural literacy.However,the current teaching sitation is that the teaching period is short,and the theory and listening and speaking classes focus on the training of listening,speaking,reding and writing skills.The training of translation sbility has obviously not been given enough attention.Translation teaching is a powerful breakthrough point for the combination of langage teaching and culture teaching.For most non-English majors,translation teaching can help them broaden their cultural horizons and deepen their understanding of the differences between Chinese and Western languages and cultures.From the perspective of English-Chinese comparison,this paper pts forward some strategies for college English translation teaching;properly increasing the teaching of Chinese-Western translation theories and translation skills;strengthening the cultural knowledge of English and American culture and the cultural connotation of words in the textbooks,cultivating cultural awareness and improving the accuracy of translation.
