摘 要:尽管研究者和教师都认识到教师反思的重要性和有效性,但反思的实质及实现反思的有效途径还有必要作进一步的研究。本文首先详述了教师专业化发展过程中教师反思的深远意义及教学反思的内涵。接下来从反思什么,何时反思及如何反思几个角度入手,深入探讨了教学反思的实质,指出教学反思不仅是一种思维方式,而且是一种行为方式;教学反思不仅要反思过去,更要着眼未来;教学反思不仅仅是一种个人行为,更是一种集体活动。最后作者提出建立教师发展共同体是促进有效反思和教师专业化发展的有效途径。Although both researchers and teachers recognize the importance and effectiveness of teacherreflection in some ways, there is still room to probe into what reflection actually means and how it isaccomplished. This article begins with an elaboration of the significance of reflection in teachers,professional development followed by general meanings of reflection, with the subsequent section probingthe nature of reflective practice from the perspective of reflection content, situation and approach. Finally,the writer points out that teacher reflection is more of a process of action than a process of thinking, aprocess of anticipatory as well as a process of retrospection and it is a collaborative work rather than anisolated activity considering the nature of learning . It concludes that language teachers can be helped toengage in this idea of reflection through teacher development groups.
