摘　　要：英语中存在大量来源于法语的词汇。大多数法语借词的主要形式是十至十三世纪诺曼底王朝时期通过与当时的古法语的语言接触传入,而非现代法语。因此,英语中的部分法语借词的拼写或发音均与其词源对应的现代法语有所差异,给词汇教学造成一定的困难。对英语中的法语借词的主要形式作出梳理不仅有助于了解语言接触的影响,同时有利于清除词汇教学中的难点。There exist plenty of French loan words in modern English,most of which are borrowed from Old French through language contact during the Norman Conquest during the10th-13th centuries,rather than from modern French.Thus,French loan words in English differ from their modern French origins in pronunciation or spelling,resulting in some lexical teaching difficulties.Clarifying the principal forms of French loan words in modern English can help not only understand the impacts of language contact but also eliminate the difficulties in lexis teaching.
