中医国际学术会议译前准备的方式与作用

摘　　要：中医国际学术会议中的源语因信息密度极高,对同传译员的听力与分析精力、语言产出精力、短期记忆精力都提出了额外需求。译前准备应以降低各项工作精力为导向。长期准备主要通过构建中医知识体系、在知识场中熟悉术语、积累中医笔译经验、熟读中医经典来降低源语的陌生度,减轻听辨压力,支撑译员灵活产出译语;会前准备是面向具体会议的更有针对性的集中准备,目的在于提前掌握传译难点,寻找对策,降低语言产出精力负荷。Traditional Chinese medicine international academic conferences,with high density of information in the source speech,require extra effort in the SI interpreter's listening and analysis effort,speech production effort and short-term memory effort.Preparation for the SI task of this particular context should be guided by the goal of lowering the interpreter's working efforts.It can be classified into long-term preparation and pre-conference preparation.For the former,the interpreter should acquire TCM knowledge comprehensively,familiarize herself with special terms and classical TCM works,and accumulate TCM translation experience in order to reduce the stress in Listening and Analysis Effort and to support herself with greater flexibility of target speech production.In the latter,the interpreter,by focusing on specific SI tasks,is able to predict and tackle difficulties in advance and hence reduce her Speech Production Effort.
