摘 要:杜威在漫长的学术人生道路上,与各界人士进行了大量书信的交流和讨论。在书信中,杜威阐释了其教育的心理学基础和哲学基础、教育目的和男女同校教育的民主教育观以及芝加哥大学实验学校的办学宗旨、课程设计、教室安排和以通识教育为基础的职业教育观。杜威在合格的教师教育标准、教师教育双证制度、教育专业博士和教育学哲学博士以及大学通识教育、学术自由的本质和救济措施等方面的看法,凸显出一些创新性观点。对杜威书信的探究,为我们进一步认识杜威教育观提供了新视角和新文献。In his long academic life, Dewey had a lot of correspondence exchanges and discussions with people from all walks of life. In his letters, Dewey explained the psychological and philosophical foundation of his educational theory, the educational purpose and the democratic education concept of coeducational instruction. He also talked about the University of Chicago Experimental School's mission, activity curriculum design, classroom arrangements, and general education-based vocational education. Dewey deliberated the standards of qualified teacher education, the double certificate system of teacher education, the differences between doctor of education and doctor of philosophy in education, as well as general education in universities, and the essence of academic freedom and relief measures. The inquiry of Dewey's letters certainly provides us with new perspectives and new literature for further understanding his educational views.
