流动儿童同伴对学生学习成绩的影响——基于北京市三个区的分析

摘　　要：在我国城乡之间和区域之间人口流动频繁,大量流动儿童在流入地接受教育。学校中流动儿童的聚集是否会影响学生的学业发展,是一个有价值的理论和现实问题。本文基于2016-2017年对北京市流动人口聚集的三个区小学四年级学生的调查数据,使用学校固定效应模型和似不相关回归方法,分析了班级中流动儿童比例对本地儿童和流动儿童学习成绩的影响。研究发现:第一,班级中流动儿童比例不影响本地儿童的成绩;第二,班级中流动儿童比例对流动儿童的成绩存在微弱的负向影响,而且在不同学生群体间有着明显的异质性;第三,这种负向影响可能源于教师对流动儿童负面的价值判断以及流动儿童增加了班级管理的难度;第四,班级中流动儿童比例的上升不会导致学生不良行为的增加。因此,人口流入地政府不必担心流动儿童的聚集会对本地儿童造成不良影响,不应该限制流动儿童在本地学校就读;同时,在教育资源分配的过程中应该对流动儿童较多的学校有所倾斜,并努力消除教师对流动儿童的刻板影响。Based on a survey data of fourth-grade students in primary schools form three districts in Beijing,this paper estimates the effect of migrant student peers on students’academic achievements.We find that the proportion of migrant students in a class doesn’t affect local students’academic achievements,but it has a weak negative and heterogeneous effect on migrant students.It’s also found that the proportion of migrant students in a class doesn’t affect the incidence of students’bad behavior.This negative impact may be due to the negative value judgment of teachers towards migrant children and the difficulty of class management of migrant children.Therefore,the local government should not worry about the negative impact of migrant children’s gathering on local children,and should not restrict migrant children to attend local schools.
