摘　　要：“材料工程基础”是材料科学与工程专业的专业基础课,其教学质量直接关系本专业人才培养质量,本文结合我校的办学特点,针对“材料工程基础”课程教学内容的界定、课程的教学方法和教学手段、本科生能力培养以及考核和评价体系等方面进行了阐述,对该课程的建设以及教学模式改革进行了探讨。"Basics of Materials Engineering"is a professional basic course for materials science and engineering majors.The quality of teaching is directly related to the quality of personnel training in this specialty.Based on the characteristics of our school,this article aims at the definition of the"materials engineering foundation"course teaching content and the teaching methods,undergraduate ability training,and assessment and evaluation system were described,and the construction of the course and the reform of the teaching model were discussed.
