英语专业课程改革实践与外语教师专业发展

摘　　要：将传统的以培养听说读写技能为主的综合英语课和阅读课改为以内容为导向的美国短篇小说、英美历史概况、英语诗文赏析等课程,目的在于培养英语专业学生的人文素养和思辨能力,同时这种教学改革对外语教师带来了前所未有的压力与挑战.本文从课程设置和教学模式方面对改革前和改革后的综合英语和阅读课程进行了对比研究,通过四年的教学改革探索,为促进英语专业可持续性发展提供实践经验,同时为教师专业发展提出了解决策略.In order to cultivate the humanistic quality and critical thinking of students of English majors,the traditional integrated English courses and reading courses focusing on developing listening,speaking,reading and writing skills are changed into content-based courses as American short stories,English-American historical overview,English poetry and appreciation courses,which has brought unprecedented pressure and challenges for English teachers.This article compares the teaching practice of the courses before and after teaching reforms from the following aspects:curriculum design and teaching mode,summarizes four year's practical experience in teaching reform,and provides a reference for sustainable development of English major and offers the strategies for teacher's professional development.
