摘 要:本文以建构主义学习理论为指导设计教学方案,旨在探寻如何在英语演讲课堂活动中帮助学生理解、掌握演讲技能,同时提高思辨能力。通过两轮教学和反思,研究发现大量使用需要高阶思维的活动,如归纳总结、分析示例、评估证据等,能够有效帮助学生理解并掌握演讲技巧,同时锻炼思辨能力。研究还发现,当活动的难度与学生的技能水平相匹配、活动的内容与目标演讲技能紧密结合时效果更好。Guided by constructivist learning theories,a teaching plan is designed for this study,aiming to explore ways to enhance students’critical thinking along with their English public speaking skills.Through two rounds of teaching practice and reflection,it is found that frequent use of activities that require higher order thinking,such as summarizing,analyzing examples,evaluating evidence etc.,can effectively help students understand and master public speaking skills and enhance their critical thinking at the same time.It is also found that when the difficulty level of the activities matches the students’level of critical thinking skills and when the content of activities is closely related to public speaking skills,they would achieve better results.
