摘  要:培养学生的文化意识、提高学生的文化理解力是英语教学的一个重要目标,它体现了英语学科的价值取向。教材中的role-play是提升学生口语水平、培养文化品格的重要材料。本文对人教版和外研社版初中英语教材role-play中文化内容进行对比分析,研究发现:两本英语教材role-play部分文化内容丰富,有利于培养学生的文化意识,但人教版教材role-play中的文化内容在各个年级分配不合理、整本书的文化内容不连贯、语境真实性有待加强,外研社版教材role-play中文化内容话题失衡、所涉及的国家较为单一。因此教师在教学中要根据教材的不足之处采取适当的措施,基于文本培养学生的文化意识。To cultivate students’cultural awareness and raise students’cultural understanding is a vital goal for English language teaching,which reflects the value orientation of the subject-English language.Role-play is an important part of English textbook which can help improve students’spoken English and cultural competence.The cultural contents is compared of Role-play in English textbooks published by People Education Press(PEP)and Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press(FLTRP).The result shows that the cultural contents from two textbook is abundant,which is conducive to cultivating students’cultural awareness.However,the distribution of the role-play part for various grades in PEP is not reasonable,with its cultural contents incoherent and the authenticity of context to be improved.The contents and topics of role-play part in FLTRP are imbalanced and the countries involved are relatively unitary.Therefore,teachers should take correct measures to develop students’cultural awareness based on the weaknesses of the two versions of textbook in teaching.
