摘 要:人脸识别技术已悄然走入课堂,成为教育领域一种新的技术风尚。作为算法装置,这一技术将师生的身体和情绪放置于被注视和被计算的位置,忽视师生内心对安全感、信任感的需要,强化了一套外在于课堂的知识权力和价值观,反而可能抑制课堂活力和师生的自主性。人脸识别技术还深刻改变着教室不同区域的边界,迫使课堂生活向完全的“前台”生活转换,导向一种与教育的民主价值背道而驰的课堂形态,甚至危及师生的身心健康。建议就人脸识别技术对课堂生活的影响进行跨学科的深入讨论,重新审视这一技术应用于课堂的各种理由,以学生和教师为主体思索“为什么而识别”。设立专门的教育与人工智能伦理委员会,对已应用于或将应用于课堂的人脸识别技术进行严格的伦理审议,更多倾听来自学生和教师的声音。Face recognition technology had stepped into classroom and became a new technology fashion in education.As a device of algorithm,it places students and teachers in the position of being watched and calculated,ignoring students and teachers'needs for security and trust.What's more,face recognition technology strengthens a set of knowledge power and values outside the classroom,restrained the creativity of life in classroom as well as the autonomy of teachers and students.Meanwhile,face recognition technology reconstructed the boundary of classroom,forced life in classroom transformed to totally frontstage life,creating a classroom form that deviates from the democratic value of education,and even damaged the mental health of teachers and students.We suggest that interdisciplinary discussion should be carried out and rethinking about why we use the face recognition technology based on the feeling of students and teachers.There is an urgent need to set up a special education and artificial intelligence ethics committee to conduct strict ethical review on the face recognition technology that had been or will be used in classroom,and we also need to listen more voice from students and teachers.
