摘　　要：英语阅读教学至关重要,学生的英语阅读理解水平在很大程度上决定着学生的英语学习水平。在新课程改革背景下,教师应不断创新和优化英语阅读教学的策略。教师可以从积极创设英语语境、增加学生的英语词汇量、加强教材资源的运用、营造良好的语言交际氛围、重视开展课外阅读活动等方面入手,开展英语阅读教学。The teaching of English reading is very important,and the level of students'English reading comprehension largely determines their English learning level.Under the background of the new curriculum reform,teachers should constantly innovate and optimize the strategies of English reading teaching.Teachers can actively create English context,increase students'English vocabulary,strengthen the use of teaching materials,create a good language communication atmosphere,and attach importance to extracurricular reading activities to carry out English reading teaching.
