摘　　要：宇文所安是当代美国唐诗研究专家。其研究具有深厚的中西文论背景,尤其体现在对新批评理论的理解与运用上。新批评文论深刻影响了其对唐诗的独特理解、阐释与译介,注重再现诗歌的内部结构与文本间相互关系的分析。本文试图阐述新批评理论的张力效果、矛盾语、“构架-肌质”特征、意象复现等概念对其唐诗翻译的影响。我们认为,其翻译以文本为中心,运用语义翻译方法,为译诗营造了翻译文学的新奇性,获得了陌生化翻译审美效果,这对中国古典诗歌当代化翻译具有一定的启迪性和借鉴意义。Stephen Owen is the contemporary American Tang poetry specialist with a mastery of both Chinese and Western literary theories.His research is especially reflected on his understanding and application of New Criticism theory to his interpreting and translating of Tang poetry,paying particular attention to the analysis of the reappearance relationship between poetry internal structure and text.This paper attempts to elaborate that the New Criticism theory concepts such as tension effect,paradox language,“structure and texture”characteristic,and image reappearance have the marked impact on his Tang poetry translation.It is concluded that his source text-oriented translation aims at creating the novelty of translated literature and achieving the aesthetic effect of alienizing translation,which can be used as the enlightenment and reference in the contemporary translation of Chinese classical poetry.
