摘 要:“续论”是广东外语外贸大学王初明教授于2016年提出的语言习得观,认为语言是通过“续”学会的,学习高效率是通过“续”实现的。“续论”为认识语言习得机制提供了一个新视角,也为深化语言习得研究找到了一个新切入点,更为语言教学和学习提质增效提供了可操作性强的方法。本文梳理早期“写长法”“以写促学”向“以续促学”演进的过程,揭示续论的发展背景,进一步剖析“续”的促学机理及功效,凸显其理论及应用价值。续论的一个较为突出的贡献在于,它推进了互动理论的研究,在肯定互动促学的同时,指出互动需要由“续”保持,互动促学实则是以“续”促学。The continuation theory is the view of language acquisition put forward by Professor Wang Chuming of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies in 2016.This theory holds that language is learned through“continuation”and learning efficiency is increased through“continuation”.“Continuation”provides a new perspective for understanding the mechanism of language acquisition,finds a new entry point for deepening the research of language acquisition,and provides a highly operable method for improving the quality and efficiency of language teaching and learning.This paper combs the evolution process of the early“Length Approach”and“promoting learning by writing”to“promoting learning by continuation”,reveals the development background of continuation theory,further analyzes the mechanism and effect of“continuation”and highlights its theoretical and application value.A prominent contribution of the theory is that it promotes the research of interaction theory.While affirming the interaction to promote learning,it points out that the interaction needs to be maintained by“continuation”,and the interaction to promote learning is actually to promote learning by“continuation”.
