摘  要:概率论与数理统计作为理工科大学生必修的主要数学课程之一,并在其他学科中广泛应用。因具有基础理论抽象、计算繁杂等特征,让学生望而却步,特别对地方高校工科学生更甚。为了让学生听得懂,用的来,针对学情与专业进行教学方法的改革是必要的。结合多年实践,本文探寻案例教学法在其课程教学中的应用,从而尝试解决新工科下地方高校理工科专业数学难学问题,实现专业人才培养的目标。Probability theory and mathematical statistics is one of the compulsory mathematics courses for the students majored in science and engineering,and it is widely used in other subjects.The majority of students is not willing to study this course,especially the students of science and engineering in local universities,because it possess some characteristics,for example,abstract basic theory,complicated calculation,and so on.In order to cultivate talents,it is necessary to carry out teaching reform according to the student situation.It is the first task of teaching reform to strengthen professional ability by the teaching methods.Based on several years of practice,this paper studies the importance of case teaching method in probability theory and mathematical statistics curriculum teaching,so as to explore and solve the problem of how to learn mathematics curriculum for the students majored in science and engineering in local universities under new engineering and technical disciplines,and realize the goal of professional talent training.
