摘  要:梅贻琦的“从游”教育思想,是其对中国教育思想的一大贡献。在他看来,所谓“从游”,是学生参与到教师在学校的日常实践,与教师进行充满生机的、自在的互动,最终受到教师潜移默化影响的过程。这一过程,不仅对于学生的“明明德”具有重要意义,而且对于学生完成“新民”的重任,也不可或缺。要想使“从游”这一过程从理想变为现实,就需要教师自觉承担启智与育德的双重职责、教师自觉讲求品格修养、增加师生在课外的接触机会、学生具备自觉的个人修养意识、学校具备自由的氛围等。Mei Yiqi’s idea of“Following the Tour”is a great contribution to Chinese educational thought.In his view,“following the tour”is a process in which students participate in teachers’daily practice at school,interact with teachers in a lively and comfortable way,and finally receive a silent transforming influence from the teachers.This process is not only of great significance to students for“advocating morality and justice,”but also indispensable for“enlightenment.”In order to turn the process of“Following the Tour”from ideal to reality,schools should work on the following:teachers undertaking the dual responsibilities of enlightenment and moral education;teachers cultivating their own morality and character;more opportunities for teachers and students to meet after class;students engaging in self⁃cultivation on their own initiative;and a free atmosphere at school.
