归化翻译理论视角下英语短篇小说的汉译策略例析——以《生活的真相》为例

摘　　要：归化译法以目的语文化为归宿点,使译文按照目标文化的意识形态和创作规范进行改造,采取目的语读者所习惯的表达方式来传达原文的内容。对英国著名的小说家和戏剧家毛姆的短篇小说《生活的真相》进行汉译,采用破坏惯用法、明晰化、理性化、数量下降、语言模式破坏、节奏破坏、质量下降等归化翻译策略,能增强文学文本的可读性和可欣赏性,有助于读者更好地理解译文。Domesticating translation method takes the target language culture as the destination, so that the translation can be transformed according to the ideology and creative norms of the target culture, and adopt the expression methods used by the target language readers to convey the content of the original text. The Chinese translation of Maugham’s short story "The Fact of Life", a famous British novelist and dramatist, can enhance the readability and appreciation of the literary text and help readers better understand the translation by adopting domestication translation strategies such as destroying idioms, clarifying, rationalizing, decreasing quantity, destroying language patterns, destroying rhythm, and declining quality.
