基于语料库的翻译汉语欧化现象分析--以《心是孤独的猎手》为例

摘　　要：欧化汉语是英译汉过程中汉语目标语受到英语源语干扰而产生的翻译语体,即第三语码。本文通过分析对比自建语料库中美国小说《心是孤独的猎手》三个汉译本,旨在探讨各译本的欧化程度差异及其认知成因。研究发现,陈笑黎、秦传安的译本词汇丰富度低,对典型欧化词类和句式结构的处理较为生硬,欧化程度较高;楼武挺的译本词汇表达灵活多变,句子简短,体现了原作的优雅和神韵,更符合汉语形散句短特点,欧化现象不明显。从认知翻译学来看,三个译本欧化程度差异是因各译者的认知方式和认知能力不同而秉持了不同的翻译观念和翻译风格所致。本文认为,提升词汇和表达丰富度、控制句长和句段长、避免对典型欧化词类、句式结构的直译能减少或阻止翻译汉语的欧化现象。Europeanized Chinese,the third code,is a translation style produced by the interference of the Chinese with in the process of English-Chinese translation.Through a comparative analysis of a self-built corpus of the three Chinese versions of the American novel The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter,this paper aims to explore the differences in the Europeanization degree of each version and its cognitive causes.The results show that the translations by both Chen Xiaoli and Qin Chuan′an have lower richness in vocabulary,more rigid in the use of typical Europeanized words and sentence structures,and thus being high degree of Europeanized.Lou Wuting′s translation,with its flexible and varied diction and short sentences,conveys the elegance and verve of the original work,and thus being less Europeanized and more in line with Chinese features of scattered form and short clause.From the perspective of cognitive translation,the differences in the Europeanization degree of the three versions are caused by the different cognitive styles and abilities of translators,which lead to the adoption of different translation methods.The paper argues that enhancing the richness of words and expressions,controlling the length of sentences and paragraphs,and avoiding literal translations of typical Europeanized words and sentence structures can well reduce or block Europeanized Chinese.
