《黄帝内经》所载术语“筋”的英译探究

摘　　要：探讨《黄帝内经》(下文简称《内经》)所载“筋”的内涵意义及英译策略。《内经》中可见大量关于“筋”的描述,其中,“筋”的出现可分为单字和多字两种情况,在考究多个《内经》英译本的基础上,探讨《内经》中“筋”的内涵和英译策略。研究发现“筋”字含义深厚、内涵广博,可根据上下文语境译为sinew、tendon、Jin、vein等,通过探讨“筋”的英译策略,总结在翻译中医术语时可采取音译、音译加括号夹注两种形式较为完整地实现医学信息的传递,以期为中医药术语英译研究提供参考借鉴。This paper analyzes the concept and translation of " Jin" in Inner Canon of Huangdi.There are a lot of descriptions of " Jin" in Inner Canon of Huangdi.Among them,the occurrence of " Jin" can be divided into two types:single-character and multi-character.Based on four English translations of Inner Canon of Huangdi.,this paper discusses the connotation and translation strategies of " Jin".The results show that the word " Jin" has a profound meaning and a wide range of connotations,and can be translated into sinew,tendon,Jin,etc.By discussing the English translation of " Jin" terms,it is concluded that transliteration,transliteration and parentheses can be used in translating TCM terms to achieve a more complete transmission of medical information,it is expected to provide reference for the translation of traditional Chinese medicine.
