摘 要:大学英语课程是实施美育教学的重要阵地,是引导学生品鉴中西文明与意识形态、提升审美和人文素养、塑造价值观和世界观的有力途径。文章梳理了美育的发展脉络和内涵,剖析了大学英语课程美育发展的现实困境,主要从政策、方法、环境三个向度阐释了大学英语美育教学的可能实践路径,并指出大学英语教师应将美育教学拓展至社会实践、日常生活与网络媒介中,有效引导学生发现美、体验美、感受美、创造美,从而提升学生的审美能力,培养学生对中华优秀传统美育文化的认同感,充分发挥大学英语课程的育人作用,实现以美育德、立德树人、服务国家的教学目标。As a primary channel for implementing aesthetic education,the college English curriculum becomes a powerful way of guiding students to appreciate Chinese and western civilization,discern ideology,improve aesthetic and humanistic qualities,and shape values and world outlook.After reviewing the development and connotation of aesthetic education,this paper attempts to analyze the dilemmas of promoting aesthetic education in college English curriculum.In response to these dilemmas,possible paths are put forward from the three main dimensions of policies,teaching methods,and environment.Moreover,college English teachers should extend aesthetic education teaching to social practice,everyday life,and network media,which is beneficial for students to discover,experience,feel and create beauty effectively.Through it,the college English curriculum may improve students’aesthetic ability and cultivate their sense of identity with the excellent traditional Chinese aesthetic culture,giving full play to its educational role.Therefore,it fulfills the teaching purposes of fostering morality in aesthetic education,cultivating virtue in students,and serving the state.
