摘 要:新闻听力是当下大学生实现跨文化接触的重要途径,转喻是新闻语篇的主要特征。作为人类基本的认知方式,转喻机制实现了语言交际的普遍经济性,转喻关系在不同文化中呈非必然性。根据理想认知模型中的转喻理论,构建大学英语跨文化听力教学模型,将其融入语言教学各层面及策略训练。教学实验表明,凸显转喻思维的课程设计能显著提高新闻听力理解的速度及正确率,促进跨文化能力的持续发展。Nowadays,news listening is an important pathway for college students′intercultural contact.Metonymy is the prevailing feature in news discourse.As a basic cognitive mechanism,conceptual metonymy realizes the universal economy of language,but it embodies different connections in different cultures.This paper proposes an intercultural listening teaching model based on idealized cognitive model theory,making use of metonymical inference in every layer of linguistic and skill training in college English course.A semester′s teaching experiment verifies that by highlighting metonymical thinking in teaching,the efficiency and accuracy of students′news listening comprehension have been improved obviously,while their ICC keeps developing substantially.
