教学比赛实践共同体视角下的大学英语教师专业发展--一个实践者的叙事探究

摘  要:通过实践者叙事探究的方法,对教学比赛实践共同体如何促进大学英语教师教研融合发展进行了深入剖析。教学实践与教学研究是一个统一的整体,两者的融合发展是教师专业发展的重要特征。历时数月的参赛过程是一个重要的“环境变化”推进因素;在反思性实践共同体中,教师的教研知识、认知、意识和效能感在短期内集中爆发式增长。影响大学英语教师教研融合发展的因素包括个人因素和外部因素,教学比赛共同体是大学英语教师专业发展的有效途径。Using the method of practitioner’s narrative inquiry,this study provides an in-depth analysis of how the teaching contest community promotes the integration and development of teaching and research among university English teachers.Teaching practice and teaching research are an integrated whole,and their combined development is a key feature of teacher professional growth.The months-long contest process serves as a significant factor of“environmental change”driving this development;in reflective practice communities,teachers’teaching and research knowledge,cognition,consciousness,and efficacy experience a rapid surge in a short period.Factors affecting the integration and development of teaching and research for university English teachers include individual and external factors.The teaching contest community is an effective approach to the professional development of university English teachers.
