英美文学作品翻译策略及方法——以《喜福会》程乃珊译本为例

摘　　要：翻译英美文学作品时要适当选用归化翻译策略,并在翻译伦理视角下做好作品的汉译。以美籍华裔作家谭恩美的长篇小说《喜福会》的程乃珊译本为例,综合运用不同的翻译手法,兼容各种翻译策略,从而更加有效地向读者呈现翻译内容。在了解语言差异的同时,关注文化差异,才能取得更好的翻译效果,从而展现出原作品的韵味,实现对作品内容的升华。While translating the English and American literary works,it is necessary for translators to appropriately choose domestication translation strategy,and the Chinese translation of the works should be done well based on translation ethics.Taking Cheng Naishan’s translation of the novel The Joy Luck Club by Chinese American writer Amy Tan as an example,this paper comprehensively adopts different translation techniques and integrates various translation strategies to more effectively present the translated content to readers.While understanding language differences,paying attention to cultural differences can help translators achieve better translation results,thereby show the charm of the original work and achieving the sublimation of the content of the work.
