基于文化翻译观的广州海事博物馆解说词英译策略研究

摘　　要：从文化翻译观的角度探讨广州海事博物馆解说词的英译策略,结果发现:1)文化负载词采用音译加注释的方法;2)城市元素采用直译的方法;3)四字格语汇采用意译的方法。这些翻译方法的运用能有效传播中国航海文化。研究结果可以为基于文化翻译观讨论博物馆解说词的英译策略提供参考。Based on the cultural translation theory,this paper discusses the translation methods of the commentaries of Guangzhou Maritime Museum.And it can be found as following:1)transliteration method and annotation method are used to translate the culture-loaded words;2)literal translation method is used to translate the elements of Guangzhou city;3)free translation method is used to translate the four-character phrases,which can well spread the Chinese maritime cultures.The result can provide evidence for future discussion of similar commentaries translation.
