摘 要:网络热梗是具有流行性、时效性和文化创新性的新型词汇,通常短小精炼、生动形象、朗朗上口,很多和本国语言的强势模因密切相关。强势模因是指那些能够持续传播且经久不衰的模因,通常具有强大的复制和传播能力,能够在各种环境中广泛传播并保持其原始特征。网络热梗的英译通过模因复制、变异和选择等过程,实现文化的传播与演化,尤其是实现强势模因的复制和快速传播。该文认为在翻译模因论的指导下,网络热梗的英译可以采用归化或异化翻译策略,采用直译和意译的方法,不仅要保持网络热梗原词的语义特征,还要使英译文本也像源语网络热梗一样生动形象和易于传播。The Internet buzzwords are a new type of vocabulary with popularity,timeliness and cultural innovation.They are usually short and concise,vivid and catchy,and many are closely related to strong memes in the native language.Strong memes refer to those memes which can continue to spread and remain popularity for a long time.They usually have strong replication and communication ability,and can be widely disseminated in various environments and maintain their original characteristics.The translation of the Internet buzzwords realizes the spread and evolution of culture through the process of meme replication,variation and selection,especially the replication and rapid spread of strong memes.This article believes that on the basis of translation memetics,the English translation of the Internet buzzwords can adopt domestication and foreignization strategies and literal translation and free translation methods,which should not only maintain the semantic characteristics of the original vocabulary,but also make the English translation as vivid and easy to spread as the original buzzwords.
