语境文化视角下《素食者》中英翻译技巧对比研究

摘　　要：在跨文化传播交流过程中,文学作品的译介有助于唤起读者共情,紧密不同文化间的情感连接,促进多元文化创新互鉴。爱德华·霍尔在其著作《超越文化》中将语境文化划分为低语境文化和高语境文化两种模式,表明不同语境下人类思维方式和表达习惯存在的差异。该文以韩国作家韩江的代表作《素食者》韩国语为原语,从词汇、句法、语篇层面分析原文高语境特征,对比中英译本中不同语境对翻译技巧的影响,发现英译本常用增译、词义引申等技巧外化高语境信息,而中译本多用虚实转换等技巧为译作增添文学色彩,对原文高语境信息调整较少。中英译本对原语翻译技巧对比研究,有助于进一步强化译者在文学翻译中的跨文化意识,促进世界文学交流博采众长、相得益彰。During the process of cultural dissemination and cross-cultural communication among the world's literary works,translation plays an important role to arouse readers'empathy,tighten cultural emotional bond,promote innovation and mutual learning between diverse cultures.Edward Hall firstly distinguished context into high-context culture and low-context culture in his work Beyond Culture,revealing the differences of thinking patterns and speaking conventions impacted by context discrepancy between different cultures.This paper takes the Korean version of Han Kang's representative work,The Vegetarian,as source language to screen out high-context features of the original from lexical,syntactic and discourse level and,to compare and analyse different translation techniques adopted in Chinese and English translated versions under the influence of different degrees of context.Through comparison,this paper finds that the English version has the tendency to use addition and extension of word meaning to explicitly reveal high-context information;Chinese version prefers to employ shifting to improve its literary quality,and makes fewer changes to the original's high-context information.The purpose of this paper is to further infuse translators'cross-cultural awareness in literary translation,so as to bring greater prosperity to the development of world literature.
