语境意识与英译汉译文质量——CET4考生英译汉试卷评析

摘　　要：本文借助语篇语言学关于语境的理论,以CET4英译汉考题为例,分析了考生在翻译过程中容易出现的问题及其成因。分析表明:在英汉语言水平大致相当的情况下,译文质量的高低在很大程度上取决于考生是否把原文看作一个整体,取决于是否具有较强的语境意识。加强学生的语境意识能有效地提高译文质量。Applying the theory of discourse analysis, especially that of context, the author compared the different versions of E-C translations in CET4, and pointed out the problems that usually occur among the students as well as the causes. The comparison shows that, for the learners at the same proficiency level, the quality of the E-C translation is greatly influenced by the context consciousness.
