摘　　要：近年来,外语界普遍认识到社会文化背景知识在语言教学中的重要性。为了正确理解英语,并能与英美人进行得体有效的交际,大学生应对英美社会文化背景有所了解。本文将就大学英语教学中文化导入的必要性以及文化导入的方法等问题提出自己的浅见。In recent years, the importance of cultural and social backgromd in English teaching has been widely recognized. To comprehend English properly and to communicate with English native speakers effectively, college students are supposed to learn some cultural and social baclcgromd of English speaking natives. This paper has dis- cussed the necessity as well as some methods to culture introduction.
