如何消除对大学英语的误解

摘　　要：大学新生对英语学习存在着许多误解,主要体现在对语言的本质、语言能力的要求、学习者的价值、语言测试的实质和目的等方面的理解上。只有消除这些误解,才能学好英语。文章从理论上分析了这些误解产生的原因并提出了转变这些误解的理据;着重指出,学习观念是指导学生学习行为的内在机制。教师如果能赋予这个机制更多的科学性,不仅有利于学生的学习,而且也有利于自己的教学。This paper holds the view that the freshmen's misunderstanding of English language learning is reflected in vari-ous aspects: the nature of language, the requirements of linguistic ability, the value of learning or learners, and the nature and purposes of language testing. This paper also offers the converting theoretical basis to the misunderstandings and points out learning sense is the learners' intrinsic mechanism of learning activities that, if improved scientifically, is beneficial to learning and teaching.
