摘　　要：Recent data suggest that, in addition to improving dyslipidemia, statin may reduce the risk of infections and infection-related complications. The aim of this study is to make a review of the literature about the effects of statins on clinically relevant outcomes of patients admitted to the hospital and having an infection and/or sepsis, principally in terms of intensive care unit admissions and related death.Recent data suggest that, in addition to improving dyslipidemia, statin may reduce the risk of infections and infection-related complications.
