摘　　要：随着知识经济社会的到来 ,人类将进入一个终身教育终身学习的新时代。面对国际社会越来越激烈的竞争 ,为了培养高素质创新人才 ,中小学教师继续教育显得尤为重要和迫切。进一步贯彻落实《中小学教师继续教育规定》 ,树立终身教育观念 ,开创中小学教师继续教育的新局面 ,利在当代 ,功在千秋 。Along with the coming of the knowledge-based economy, man has entered a new era of continuing schooling and life-long education. In a world of fiercer competition, the teachers of primary and middle schools have the greater and more urgent need for the continuing education. It's of great importance to carry out the Regulations for the Continuing Education of Primary and Middle School Teachers, build up the conception of life-long education and start a new phase of continuing education for the teachers concerned. It is beneficial to the modern time and the generations to come.
