试论现代外语教材中教师的地位和作用

摘　　要：现代外语教材的概念发生了很大的变化,教材成为学生学习的资源和工具。教材理念的改变要求教师应更新观念,提高自身教学理论水平及教材分析能力,做到以教材为本,在充分利用教材的同时,应培养学生的学习兴趣,激发其学习动机,使学生形成自主学习能力,最终促进其交际能力的发展。The concept of modern foreign language teaching material has been enlarged and the teaching material has become the resources and instruments of students. Teachers should change the old teaching beliefs, and improve the levels of teaching theories and the capacity of the analysis of teaching materials. Based on the teaching material, teachers should cultivate the students' interests and inspire the motivation of students so as to develop their autonomy and the communicative competence.
