摘　　要：大学英语教学的目标是培养学生的英语综合应用能力,而语篇能力是语言能力的重要成分,语篇意识的缺失制约着语言能力的培养。因此,笔者总结了一些在精读和写作教学中培养和提高学生语篇能力的方法,以提高学生的综合应用能力。The objective of College English is tO develop students＇ ability to use English in an all-round way. To achieve the goal, we cannot afford to ignore the discourse competence for it is one of the important eompetenees of a langnage. Therefore some methods and approaches are offered in this article to improve students＇ discourse competence.
