文本误读和文化迁移——以《西游记》中“道”的翻译现象为例

摘　　要：文化眼光观照下的译学研究,"翻译"不仅指源宿语之间的符号转换操作,而且涵盖由此操作而带来的文化递嬗演变,以及宿语文本在不断被阐释、被言说中生成的新的意义权力关系,后者可被称为语内翻译。通过探讨《西游记》中"道"这一概念的翻译现象,特别是其语内翻译现象,还原原始价值,厘清文本误读,以实例生动展示文化迁移过程。＂Translation＂ as defined in Translation Studies from the cultural perspective is not confined to the transformational operation of purely linguistic codes between SL and TL, but also covers the cultural implications resulting from such operation, and the new semantic power relationships which accrued in the target text under repeated interpretation, known as intra-lingual translation. The study of the translation, especially the intra-lingual one, of ＂dao＂ in Journey to the West is intended to recover the original values, clarify text misreading, and demonstrate the process of acculturation with live examnles.
