中学英语教师继续教育的思考

摘　　要：中学现有英语师资的素质与现代社会的需求极不吻合,存在着知识结构不合理、能力水平较低、现代教育理念滞后等差距,通过继续教育尽快提高中学英语教师的基本素质是当务之急。文章主要探讨当前中学英语教师存在的主要问题及对其进行继续教育的有效途径。Due to inadequate knowledge about their discipline, low capability and lagging opinion of modem education, the qualification of high school English teacher cannot meet the demand of the modern society. As a result, it is of vital importance to improve the essential qualification of high school English teacher through further education. Tile present article discusses the problems existing among high school English teachers and also probes into the effective means of further education for them .
