摘　　要：园林树木学课程是园林专业的主要专业基础课之一,具有时间性强、信息量大、实践性强等特点,针对其在以往教学中存在的理论与实践脱节、教学内容重复、教学手段单一、实践教学环节薄弱等问题,提出了园林树木学课程加大总学时数并调整总论和各论的课时比例和授课时间;合理分配教学内容并增加新内容;采用多媒体教学、现场教学与直观教学、讨论式教学等多种教学手段;合理安排实践教学;用综合评定取代一次性考试等改革措施。Landscape Trees and Shrubs is one of the fundamental courses of Landscape Architecture. This curriculum is possessed of abundant contents and needs massive practice. In the teaching process, the main problems include the loose relation between theory and practice, the unitary teaching method, the redundant content and the weak practice teaching. The measures for theoretical and practical teaching reform are introduced： increasing teaching hours, readjusting the proportion of each part to teaching time, adding new contents, using all kinds of teaching methods, arranging practice teaching reasonably and selecting new modes of examination.
