摘  要:成人学生和在校大学生具有不同的特点和学习目的。情感因素在成人英语教学中,有时比智商还重要,如果学习者受消极情绪的影响较大,再好的老师、教材、教学方法也无济于事。在教学中我们要改变教学方法,防止成人学生的焦虑,指导他们科学地安排时间;满足他们的自尊心,多表扬、肯定;不断激发他们的动机,树立对教育的正确态度,使他们顺利完成学习任务。Adult students and college students have different characteristics and study purposes. Affective factors in adult English teaching are sometimes more important than IQ. If the learners are greatly affected by the negative emotional impact, even the best teachers, teaching materials, teaching methods will be of no help. Therefore we should change the teaching methods to prevent them from anxiety, to guide them to arrange time scientifically; to meet their self-esteem and give them praise and credit for trying; to stimulate their motivation continuously and foster the correct attitude to education so that we can ensure them to successfully complete the study task.
