浅谈我院高职高专英语教学现状及对策

摘　　要：随着2008年9月新生入学,我院跨进万人大校,2009年9月新生入学,我院将升为11000多人。在广东以及珠三角对外开放的前沿地带,在日益活跃的中外经济和文化交流中,英语越来越显其突出作用。因学生生源复杂,我院各系部的专业不同,英语教学也面临严峻的教学任务。当前职业技术教育中,如何培养出能够适应市场经济下对英语熟练应用,并且具有一定专业技术技能、新的复合型当代技术人才是当前职业教育的办学方向。本文就我院高职院校英语教学中存在的问题,进行了有针对性的分析,并提出相应的对策,以达到寓教于乐,教学相长,学以致用的目的。Our college will reach a breakthrough with more than 10,000 freshmen in September,2008.English plays a crucial role in thriving foreign trade and cultural commnunication,especially in Canton and the Pearl River Delta area.Due to the complex backgrounds of our students and differences of majors in our separate departments,English teaching encounters a baptism in the teaching process.The principal aim of present vocational and polytechnic education is to struggle a way of educating modern and comprehensive students with proficient English and well-knit professional knowledge.This paper touches upon the problems in English teaching in our college,carries through the efficient analysis on it and put forward relevant solutions to achieve a pleasant teaching atmosphere and virtual English learning-teaching process.
