论建构主义学习理论对大学英语教学的启示

摘  要:建构主义学习理论是当前对教学影响比较大的、得到普遍肯定和重视的一种学习理论,它强调个体从自身已有的知识经验出发来建构对外部世界的理解,强调学习者学习的主动性,学习的社会性和情境性。大学英语教学目前在很大程度上还受着传统教学观念的影响,教学方法滞后。对建构主义学习理论进行了阐述,说明了它对大学英语教学的一些启示,旨在优化大学英语教学理念,促进大学英语教学的发展。Constructivism learning theory is an influential theory which has a strong effect on teaching and is widely recognized nowadays. It holds that an individual constructs his interpretation of the external world based on his already-existing knowledge and experience and attaches importance to the learner himself and the social-cultural aspect of learning. College English teaching is,to a great extent,still affected by the traditional teaching ideas and thus lags behind. This paper introduces the construetivism learning theory,and then presents the enlightenment of constrnctivism learning theory to college English teaching with the purpose to optimize the teaching theory and promote the development of college English teaching.
