摘　　要：英语阅读技能的掌握对于英语专业的学生来说至关重要。要提高学生的阅读能力,教师必须在阅读课堂上采取有效的提问技巧,课堂提问可根据语法形式、呈现方式、问题水平等不同角度进行分类。教师提问时要根据具体情况设计不同水平的问题,并正确处理学生的答案。The master of English reading skills is of great importance to English majors. To improve students＇ reading ability, teachers should employ effective questioning skills in reading lessons. Questions can be classified into different groups aeeording to grammatical form, presentation of ways and levels or skills of the answer. On questioning, it is wise for teaehers to devise questions of different levels and deal with students＇ answers in a right way.
