摘　　要：运用系统功能语言学中的体裁和语域分析方法,从社会目的、篇章结构、语场、语旨和语式几个方面对纯消息新闻英语的语篇特点进行剖析,为系统功能语言学理论在语篇分析中的运用提供实例参照,以帮助众多新闻读者更深入地了解新闻英语的语篇特点,及时有效地获取大量信息。This study, grounded in the genre-register model of Systemic Functional Grammar, makes an analysis on straight news genre in terms of field, tenor and mode. Based on its research findings, the research aims to provide a concrete example for the application of Systemic Functional Grammar into Discourse Analysis. It also aims to help the news readers understand the textual features of straight news and obtain considerable information.
