摘　　要：目前,全国高等职业院校都在积极探索新的教学模式,其根本目的就是要培养学生适应社会和工作岗位的需求,提高学生的职业核心能力。而对于广大英语教师来说,其任务就是要从语言习得规律出发,分析高职院校学生英语学习环境以及学习过程中存在的问题,优化高职学生职业核心能力的途径与方法。At present,all the higher vocational colleges are exploring the new patterns of teaching;as a result,they can cultivate their students to meet the requirements of the society and the job.In hence,they can also improve the students＇ core ability of profession.For the fellow teachers,their task is to analyze the learning environment and problems and at last to suggest the effective methods of improving the students core ability of profession.
