摘 要:虚与实是中国传统文艺理论中一对重要的范畴。文学作品中,逼真描写的景、形、境等具体的事物,称为"实境",由实境诱发的审美想象空间称为"虚境"。虚境是艺术创造的意向和目的,体现着艺术作品的审美效果,同时,虚境不可能凭空而生,它要通过实境的具体描写来表现。将虚实相生的原理引入文学翻译研究具有重要意义。做文学翻译,在正确达意的基础上,还要有审美层次上的追求。本文以屠格涅夫作品汉译为例,从以下几个方面探讨如何使译文虚实相映:画面的流畅性,语言的音乐性,语义的互文性。Imaginariness and representation are two important categories of traditional Chinese literature theory.In literal works,vivid description of concrete objects(e.g.scenery,appearance,surrounding,etc.)is referred to as "representation" while imaginary aesthetic space based on it as "imaginariness".As the aim of art creation and the embodiment of aesthetic effect in literature works,imaginariness isn't fanciful but depends on the vivid description of representation.It's meaningful and necessary to translate not only faithfully and smoothly,but also aesthetically.Taking translations of Turgenev's works as examples,this paper discusses how to combine imaginariness and representation harmoniously in literature translation from the following aspects:the fluency of description,the musical charm of language,the intertextuality of meaning.
