摘　　要：关于网络学习,一直以来研究比较多的是教学语言和网络技术给学习者造成的麻烦。随着全球网络学习者人数的急剧增长和文化背景日趋复杂,网络学习中的文化障碍日益凸显,学界在近几年才开始对此普遍关注,尤其是网络学习者的跨文化交际能力。本文讨论网络教育中文化障碍的起因、网络教学设计的文化思考、跨文化环境下的网络学习策略等。Most of the literature regarding challenges languages and the technological matters until recently to e-learning has been concerned with the instructional Given the exploding learner population of increasingly heterogeneous nature world-wide, the past few years has witnessed a flurry of discussions on the cultural challenges to global e-learning, especially on cross-cultural communicative competence of e-learners. This paper focuses on three issues： （1）the causes of the cultural challenges to e-learning; （2）the cultural dimensions of e-learning designs; and （3） cross-cultural e-learning strategies.
